April's talk by Richard hendy is about observational astronomy and should offer good sound advise on how to look for and observe objects which can be faint and elusive to the eye.
When begginers or those with small telescopes are looking for an object, it can be disheartening when you can't find it, so this would be a good time to get the advice you need.
