Further to discussion with group members, the promised visit to London to the Royal Observatory,National Maritime Museum and the Queens House has now been booked and a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT PAID for the coach.
Details are as follows:
Date: Saturday 7th June 2008
Time: 7.45am, departure at 8.00am prompt (anyone who is late will lose their fare as the coach company will still have to be paid!)
Where: back of Shipleys Bingo Hall/back of Police Station, Queen Street, Redditch. (parking on college car park is free on a Saturday but will check and let everyone have confirmation on that nearer the date)
Cost: £10 per member
£15 per non member
and entrance to the Royal Observatory, Naional Maritime Museum and Queens House is free.
If anyone is interested in a planetarium/Black Hole booking, you will need to book this yourself by contacting bookings@nmm.ac.uk or telephone 020 8312 8565 (full details of everything to see and do there can be viewed on nmm.ac.uk or you can access via the big blue box on our "Welcome" page, just click on first subject, and look on the right hand column of the page that appears.
Payment in full will be collected at our March and April meetings, as we have to know definite numbers so any spare seats can be offered elsewhere.
I would appreciate it if everyone could e-mail me on jules-rules-@hotmail.co.uk or phone me 01527 454397 (after 7pm) to let me know that they have seen this announcement.
